Products
At Industrial EKG we believe strongly in delivering a whole product. To us this means
providing the all discrete components, connectivity, instructions and training,
organized in a way that allows you to install and use our systems without having to
search around for nuts, bolts, or accessory cables required to make an installation
perform properly, or to make repeated phone calls to troubleshoot an installation.
As just one simple example, each core instrument requires three voltage and three
current connections in a motor control cabinet in order to function properly.
Now, it's very common in electrical cabinets to resort to trial and error finding
the right 3-phase sequence of connections, and to get the polarity of current
transformer leads to be "correct". It's so common, in fact, that there are test
instruments available in the market whose sole job is to identify which motor
lead wire is which in R,S,T sequence. At Industrial EKG, we've eliminated such
worries by the simple (obvious?) approach of having the instrument tolerate whatever
connections you make. If you like, it will tell you which connections you made, but if
you don't care, it will just go about it's normal business and tell you if there's a
problem.
